Meet Cameron Brooks

Hello! I’m Cam.

I’m a proud East Tennessee native; born and raised in the beautiful Tri-Cities. After moving to Knoxville in 1996 to earn a B.S. in Sociology and Political Science from The University of Tennessee, I fell in love with Knoxville’s strong sense of community, kind and compassionate people, and atmosphere of giving. Knoxville is my home, and where I’ve built a rewarding business connecting people with the right Real Estate opportunities since 2015. In my spare time you’ll find me in my garden cultivating flowers of all kinds, or in front of the TV supporting my favorite professional football team, the Las Vegas Raiders. My husband Wes Knott and I also love swimming and hiking at Ijams Nature Center with our two rescue dogs, Annabelle and Samuel.

A Commitment to Community

I’m passionate about building relationships with people, and my life has centered around servant leadership. Before going into Real Estate, I worked for a decade as a community organizer and local political campaign manager, and from 2009 – 2011 I was one of five legislatively appointed Election Commissioners for the Knox County Election Commission. In 2017 I was re-appointed to the Election Commission, serving as Secretary in 2019. Throughout my career I’ve met many wonderful fellow professionals; one of my favorite activities is interviewing them for my personal blog, https://cameronviews.com. The dedicated spirit of our business community is just one reason I’m proud to call Knoxville home!

Passion With a Purpose

There is no greater reward in life than helping others, and when I see a cause, I’m compelled to act! I regularly partner with local professionals to sponsor fundraisers and special events of all kinds. We’ve raised funds for Go North Animal Rescue Transport, an organization that saves shelter animals from euthanization, and had a blast providing free professional photos for families and their pets during “Family Pet Portrait Day”. My friendship with Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) bus driver Ventrice Hodge inspired “KAT Worker Appreciation Day” with the delivery of 200 meals to KAT workers, and I’ve helped raise funds for the rebuilding of Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. I invite you to join my Facebook Group to learn about these, and future events!
